Emily's a 27 year old Fine Artist from Palm Bay,FL. She had earned her BFA in Fine Arts and minors in graphic design and illustration, and have since been working on expanding her portfolio in different ways. Initially she went into college wanting to become a concept designer for films but as she progressed, her mind was opened to new possibilities and passions such as her love of theatre and puppetry. She finds the theatre performances to be engaging on so many sensual levels and wishes to create this experience in her own work. She wants her work to be grand and captivating. She challenges her audience to become a part of the performance, to investigate what she has created. This is why she is motivated by creative challenges. She does not rely on one process or material to come up with a solution. Rather, she seeks all necessary means to achieve a visual solution. Ideas about making art are as broad as her approaches to solving them. Environments and interactive elements are influenced by her love of theatre and Film. Her career so far has been creating costumes as well as scenic work within the theme park industry.
